My attic was passively cooled with ridge vents and ventilated soffets. After measuring and monitoring the attics temps over the course of a few weeks, I wasn’t satisfied with the passive ventilation’s performance. After adding this fan to supplement, I noticed a fairly large improvement. Temps were typically 8-15 degrees cooler in the attic than they had been previously on similarly hot summer days.
